Exploring Sustainable Cities trough Digital Interfaces
Workshop with school classes exploring how digital tools and research data can help us understand sustainability challenges in different parts of the world and what we can learn from Southeast Asia to mitigate climate change.
Using the interactive SURE atlas, pupils will explore current research on urban sustainability of urban regions in Southeast Asia to investigate what can be learned for their own city. They will examine climate impacts, resilience, and ecological challenges while discovering how global developments are connected to local realities. In the spirit of the 2026 theme of the Klimagrongress, Clouds & Computing, the workshop shows how digital research tools can make complex information and research visible and accessible for everyone.
